Synopsis: Out of the depths of the criminal underworld emerges Rome (Eric Roberts, The Specialist, Final Analysis), a ruthless, two-bit hoodlum, who will stop at nothing-not even murder-to pull off a counterfeiting scam worth twenty million dollars.

Standing outside the prison gates, Rome eagerly awaits the release of his former apprentice and criminal cohort, John (David White, series regular, Evening Shade). Determined to go straight with a land deal in Florida, John rejects Rome's scam. But without money to finance his own deal, he reluctantly goes along with Rome. With $50,000 in borrowed front money, Rome skillfully sets the trap and entrusts the money to John, who double-crosses him. In a deadly care chase, Rome hunts him down to search for his money and get his revenge.

On the run with nowhere to turn, John seeks out the help of his estranged twin brother, Jeremiah. He arrives at Jeremiah's front door only to find Rome mistakingly dragging him away. With his brother out of the way, John steps into his picture-perfect life and turns it upside-down. Masquerading as his brother, John gets romantically involved with Jeremiah's girlfriend Samantha (Cynthia Watros, series lead, Titus), a sultry and passionate artist.

Held hostage in an old warehouse, Jeremiah learns that his brother John is still alive. Blaming himself for his brother's accident while desperately trying to keep him out of jail, Jeremiah agrees to play along with Rome's plan. But all comes unglued when Jeremiah escapes. Faced with the dilemma of whether to save himself or his only brother, he encounters an intuitive stranger, Tom (Stacy Keach, American History X, Escape from LA), who emotionally frees him to make a decision that will ultimately change both their lives.

Jeremiah comes face to face with John, the brother he thought had been dead most of his life. With emotions running high, an intense battle of words quickly turns into a violent fight. Only one emerges to settle the score with Rome. But is it Jeremiah or is it his brother John?
